Over the past 25 plus years, Dana Brown Ministries and its various components (Naomi’s Heart, Igniting Grace, etc.) have provided meals to the women and children of Cornerstone Homeless Shelter, provided soup and sandwiches to various warming centers throughout Western New York, distributed food baskets to hundreds of families for Thanksgiving and Christmas and provided packets of personal care items to countless people. Last year we handed out over a hundred packages that contained gloves, scarfs, winter hats and socks. This years needs have already exceeded our original goal of doubling our efforts. We have been blessed by people’s generous support but are unable to to keep up with the current demand. Through your support we are able to keep striving to meet these needs.
Last year we again entered the toy drive arena. Dana Brown Ministries Inc was able to place collection bins in four locations. The West Ferry Street (Buffalo, NY) and Abbott Road (Lackawanna) Dollar General stores, M.O.D. fade + dye (Laila Williams) and Mirror Emajez (Monique Cole). Several individuals who asked to remain anonymous also contributed. These toys were distributed to working families in need who don’t qualify for standard economic resources. (over 100 children) This year in lieu of the pandemic we will be distributing gift cards to families for Christmas.
After serving in churches and communities across the world for over 50 years, I felt it was time to take Dana Brown Ministries Inc. to the next level. It’s official; we are now a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit organization. My heart has always been to help as many people as I could and though our impact has been amazing without this step; I felt limited. That being said I would like to invite you to partner with us in “Changing the World one life at a time.”
For HIS Glory,
Dana M. Brown
